Job summary

Young Automotive Group in Utah is seeking a Bedliner Technician for the Young Collision Center. You will prepare truck beds and surfaces for spray-on bedliner, including masking and sanding, and operate spray equipment to apply protective coatings.

Previous experience in automotive accessories or coatings is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate. A strong, hands-on candidate with good safety practices will thrive in this team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable working in a physically active shop environment.
• Ability to pass a drug test and a background check.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Prepare truck beds and vehicle surfaces for spray-on bedliner application by cleaning, sanding, masking, and surface prepping.
• Apply protective masking materials to prevent overspray on surrounding vehicle components.
• Operate spray equipment and apply bedliner coatings to company quality standards.
• Inspect completed applications for consistency, appearance, and overall quality.
• Remove masking materials, perform final clean-up of vehicles, and stage completed vehicles for pickup.
• Safely move vehicles throughout the shop and designated lot areas.
• Perform additional duties and assist with shop operations as assigned by management.
