Centinela Hospital Medical Center, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a care coordination professional to support patients as they move through the care continuum in Inglewood. You will verify insurance, register patients, and coordinate payor communications to maximize reimbursement while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, clinical/patient care experience, excellent spelling/grammar, and strong multitasking, organization, and computer skills.

• 4. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple activities in a fast-paced environment.
• 5. Works in the department as needed in designated areas.
• 6. Ability to handle stressful situations with physicians and ancillary departments.
• 7. Must be detail-oriented and have a high degree of organizational skills.
• 8. Must have experience working with computers and computer software/applications.

Responsabilités

• Primary responsibilities include ensuring accurate, timely processing of insurance verifications, patient registration, timely notification of payor to ensure maximum reimbursement, facilitating benefit coverage for continuum of care needs, ensuring the flow of information to continuum care providers, and maintaining a high level of confidentiality.

Preferred qualifications:

• 1. Associates degree or higher degree preferred.
• 2. Previous insurance background preferred.
• 3. Previous experience in an acute care hospital preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $25.70 to $25.70. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
