Job summary

Rentokil Terminix is seeking a Bed Bug Specialist / Pest Control Technician to identify, treat, and eliminate bed bug infestations. You will perform inspections, apply treatments, and guide clients on prep steps and prevention.

Role requires driving a company vehicle, detailed documentation, and ability to work outdoors in varying climates. The position emphasizes safety, accuracy, and excellent customer service across both homes and businesses.

Qualifications

• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills with measurements and conversions.
• Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and local regulations.
• Customer-facing experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections to identify bed bug activity and transfer zones.
• Apply approved pesticide solutions, heat treatments, or steam applications per label instructions.
• Guide clients through prep steps, explain service plans, and offer prevention advice.
• Operate and maintain service vehicle and keep gear clean and stocked.
• Record chemical use and service reports using electronic handheld devices.
