Job summary

Ulta Beauty in New York is seeking a Salon Stylist to consult with guests on hair care needs, perform hair services, and recommend products and services to enhance the guest's total look.

You will support the Experience Manager and collaborate with skin therapists and the retail team to deliver a comprehensive guest experience. Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license required.
• Previous relevant salon experience preferred.
• Proficiency in hair services and makeup application.

Responsibilities

• Perform hair services including design, color, styling, and treatments.
• Meet or exceed weekly sales and service productivity goals.
• Demonstrate business acumen and drive growth opportunities.
• Conduct product demonstrations to boost sales and guest experience.
• Support in-store events and promotions for guest satisfaction.
• Stay informed on trends and product benefits to advise guests.
• Maintain prompt attendance and salon cleanliness.
