Job summary

Ulta Beauty in Kentucky seeks a friendly Stylist to engage guests, consult on hair care needs, and recommend products and services. Deliver high-quality professional services with emphasis on the guest’s total look and a welcoming salon experience.

You will collaborate with the Experience Manager and team to meet sales and guest-service goals, stay informed on trends, follow safety procedures, and uphold store standards. Prior salon experience and a cosmetology license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license is required.
• Previous salon experience is preferred.
• Ability to deliver high-quality guest service and product recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Perform hair services: design, haircut, color, texture, styling, updos, extensions, and related treatments.
• Meet or exceed weekly service and sales goals through excellent guest service.
• Demonstrate business acumen and identify opportunities for growth within the salon.
• Provide product demonstrations to drive sales and enhance guest experience.
• Support in-store events and promotions to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Stay informed on industry trends and maintain compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Maintain regular attendance and professional salon image.
