Nordstrom is seeking a Beauty Stylist in California to drive beauty sales across brands with demonstration and artistry techniques. You will focus on recommending products that fit customers' needs, thrive in a commission-based environment, and deliver exceptional one-on-one service.

In this role you will set sales goals, stay current on trends, build relationships, and expand Nordstrom Rewards through events and personalized consultations while collaborating with brands and store teams.

Qualifikationen

• 1+ years of Beauty industry experience.
• The ability to work a flexible schedule based on department needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organization and follow-through.
• A high level of ownership, accountability and initiative.
• The ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical Requirements: Continuous movement 6-8 hours per shift and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Aufgaben

• Set and achieve sales goals, for both in-store and digital selling with effective use of selling tools.
• Seek industry trends and product knowledge to maintain expertise.
• Initiate service consultations by asking open-ended questions to learn the customer's preferences and needs.
• Build lasting relationships with customers by following up on purchases, suggesting new products and inviting them to upcoming events.
• Grow sales by focusing on appointment-based selling, utilizing technology and opening new Nordstrom Rewards accounts.
• Be an entrepreneur, create events in the store, and network in the community.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships within each Beauty brand to identify key focuses and products.
