Job summary

Sakar International is seeking a creative, tech‑savvy product development specialist for its Health & Beauty division in Edison, NJ. You will drive new product concepts across personal care, skincare, and beauty tools, collaborating with design, sourcing, and marketing teams.

You’ll research trends on TikTok, Instagram, and retailers, manage Excel trackers and costing, and build decks for retailer meetings while guiding products from concept through packaging and piloting samples.

Qualifications

Passionate about beauty, skincare, personal care, and emerging trends.
Comfortable with technology, AI, and social media insights.
Excellent Excel tracking, costing, and presentation skills.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Research beauty, skincare, personal care, and wellness trends across platforms and retailers.
Identify trends and help develop new product ideas and concepts.
Work with overseas factories on sourcing, pricing, samples, and development.
Help manage products from concept through final production.
Use AI tools to create concepts, renderings, research, and presentations.
Collaborate with design on packaging, artwork, copy, and callouts.
Review samples and communicate changes to factories.
Create Excel product sheets, trackers, line lists, and costing.
Build PowerPoint decks for retailer meetings.
Attend sales meetings and shape assortments based on retailer needs.
Research competitive products, packaging, and pricing opportunities.
