Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop your team:Provide frequent coaching and feedback, set clear expectations, recognize individual contributions, motivate associates, and empower team members to make confident business decisions.
• Analyze business performance:Review sales reports, business metrics, and other available information to understand performance trends, identify opportunities, and take action to improve results.
• Support talent management:Identify and recruit talented individuals in the local market and actively seek candidates for open positions.
• Maintain visual standards:Walk the sales floor regularly to ensure merchandise is clean, organized, and presented according to JCPenney visual standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service:Engage with customers, understand their needs, and work with your team to create positive and memorable shopping experiences.
• Execute monthly animations:Partner with store leadership and your team to prepare for upcoming merchandise presentations, layouts, and promotional sets while ensuring an engaging experience for customers.
