Job summary

The PCA Group of Companies is seeking energetic Beauty Content Creators & Live Shopping Hosts to join our growing livestream presence on TikTok Live, Whatnot, and other platforms. This Independent Contractor role is based on-site in our Ronkonkoma NY or NYC studios, offering flexible engagement with available livestream opportunities.

Compensation is $20.00–$25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. You determine your schedule and participate in sessions that fit your availability.

Qualifications

• Comfortable on camera with high energy and natural talking pace.
• Experience in live selling or livestreaming is a plus; personality matters more.

Responsibilities

• Host engaging TikTok Live and Whatnot livestream shopping events.

That is why we have structured this opportunity as an Independent Contractor engagement.

Work as little or as much as your availability allows, based on available livestream opportunities.

Accept the livestream opportunities that work with your schedule. Have more availability? Take on more sessions. Have a busy week? Keep your commitments lighter.

We are looking for personalities—not a traditional 9-to-5 schedule.

What You’ll Do

• Host engaging and high-energy TikTok Live and Whatnot livestream shopping events
• Demonstrate and showcase fragrance, cosmetics, skincare, haircare, wellness, and personal-care products
• Talk naturally about products, features, trends, benefits, and your personal favorites
• Interact directly with viewers through comments, questions, reactions, polls, giveaways, and live conversations
• Create excitement around new products, trending items, special offers, bundles, and limited-time opportunities
• Help turn viewers into customers through authentic product storytelling and demonstrations
• Keep livestreams entertaining, conversational, fast-moving, and engaging
• Learn about different beauty brands and confidently communicate their stories
• Work with our team to continuously improve livestream content, audience engagement, and sales performance
• Bring your own personality, creativity, energy, humor, style, and point of view to every live session

We don't want someone who sounds like they are reading a sales script.

We want someone people actually want to watch.

Who We’re Looking For

• Comfortable—and preferably very comfortable—on camera
• Energetic, expressive, outgoing, and conversational
• Passionate about beauty, fragrance, skincare, cosmetics, haircare, wellness, fashion, lifestyle, or social media
• Familiar with TikTok, Whatnot, Instagram, YouTube, livestreaming, or social-commerce platforms
• Able to think on your feet and keep a conversation moving
• Naturally persuasive without sounding overly scripted
• Comfortable demonstrating products and answering questions live
• Able to connect with different audiences and personalities
• Dependable when you accept a scheduled livestream engagement
• Excited about trends, viral products, creator culture, and the constantly changing world of social media

EXPERIENCE IS GREAT. PERSONALITY MATTERS MORE.

Previous experience in live selling, livestreaming, content creation, social media, beauty retail, influencing, UGC, brand ambassadorship, acting, broadcasting, modeling, cosmetics, fragrance, or sales is a plus.

But Professional Livestream Experience Is Not Required.

This is not being designed as a traditional full-time position.

It is an Independent Contractor opportunity designed to provide flexibility for people who want to participate in live social commerce without committing to a traditional fixed weekly schedule.

Livestream opportunities may be available at different times depending on programming, product launches, campaigns, and business needs.

You determine the opportunities you are available to accept.

Relevant experience may include livestream hosting, social-media content creation, live selling, beauty industry experience, on-camera work, audience development, sales, broadcasting, acting, influencing, UGC creation, or similar experience.

WHERE YOU’LL CREATE

Livestreams are hosted from our Ronkonkoma, New York studio, or our NYC studio. where you'll have access to products and the environment needed to create engaging live-shopping experiences.

This is an on-site opportunity. Candidates must be able to travel to the Ronkonkoma studio or NYC studio for accepted livestream engagements.

Selected candidates may be invited to participate in a brief on-camera audition or live product demonstration.
