Job summary

The Beauty Advisor at Belk drives sales and delivers a positive customer experience by providing excellent service through building client relationships, performing product applications, and offering customized recommendations. This is an hourly position in a fast-paced commission environment.

You will inspire customer loyalty with personalized consultations, utilize clienteling tools, and stay current on beauty trends while supporting store promotions and omnichannel initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associates must maintain all required professional licenses and certifications, including any state-specific demonstrator or cosmetology licenses, as required by applicable state and local regulatory boards.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ownership and initiative to achieve store objectives and key metrics.
• Create memorable store experiences through relationships with team, vendors, customers, and community.
• Build customer loyalty with personalized consultations and product recommendations.
• Execute promotions, events, and outreach to maximize performance and sales.
• Provide omnichannel service using selling tools and in-store and digital inventory details.
• Build product knowledge and execute suggestive selling aligned with beauty trends.
• Merchandise and replenish products, maintain visuals and hygiene standards per vendor/company directives.
• Contribute to a positive store culture through knowledge sharing and recognizing achievements.
• Support selling and store operations as needed.
• Assist with store fulfillment and asset protection per safety guidelines.
