Job summary

senti senti, a beauty and gift boutique in Chinatown, NYC and Williamsburg, Brooklyn, is seeking energetic Beauty Advisors. You will provide detailed product recommendations, educate yourself on ingredients, skincare and makeup, and guide customers with exceptional service in a fast-paced retail setting.

This is a flexible full-time or part-time role that may lead to a managerial position for qualified individuals.

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales experience and store/boutique management (1 year preferred).
• Fluent in English; Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sales consultations with detailed product recommendations.
• Educate yourself on ingredients, skincare, and makeup to become an expert resource for customers.
• Maintain store cleanliness and adhere to visual merchandising standards.
• Participate in inventory control.
• Ability to lift in excess of 40 pounds and stand for long periods.

senti senti (formerly oo35mm) a beauty and gift boutique in Chinatown, NYC and Williamsburg, Brooklyn is looking for energetic individuals to join our Beauty Advisor team. The ideal candidates must demonstrate exceptional customer service, as well as great energy, and a positive attitude. Must be passionate about skincare and makeup.

Position Type

This is a full time or part time position may lead to a managerial position for the qualified individual.

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales experience and managing a store/boutique. (1 year preferred)


• Fluent in English. A plus if fluent in Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).

Requirements

• Proven retail sales and customer service experience (Training will be provided)


• Good communication skills


• Passion for customer service, selling, and products knowledge


• Ability to multi task and work in a fast paced environment


• Flexible schedule, ability to work both weekdays or weekends (Not required but a plus)

Responsibilities

• Sales and consultations which include providing detailed product recommendations and product information


• Educating yourself on an ongoing basis about ingredients, skincare, and makeup so as to become an ever more valuable expert resource for customers


• Maintaining store cleanliness, adhere to visual merchandising and housekeeping standards


• Participate in inventory control


• Ability to lift in excess of 40 pounds


• Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, stretch, engage in repetitive motions, push, pull and carry items (tote bags, inventory etc.) for a short distance


• Ability to climb a ladder and use a step stool
