Job summary

Sephora in Charleston's SC-King Street store is seeking a Beauty Advisor to welcome clients with warmth and confidence, offering personalized consultations and expert product recommendations. You’ll contribute to a welcoming shopping experience and help clients feel confident in their beauty choices.

This role is hourly, part-time with flexible scheduling to cover peak operations, weekends and holidays. You’ll work with a diverse team and uphold Sephora's standards while delivering outstanding

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized beauty experiences Provide tailored consultations and product recommendations that meet each client’s needs
• Demonstrate product expertise: Share knowledge to educate and empower clients in their beauty journey
• Stay ahead of trends Keep up with the latest beauty products, techniques, and trends to deliver relevant advice that keeps clients coming back
• Drive results Sephora sets you up to thrive in your role so that you can exceed sales goals and key performance indicators
• Maintain a beautiful space Support inventory, merchandising, and ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.

Flexible Scheduling and Reliability

• Must meet the required minimum number of weekly shifts/ hours
  • Full Time: 30-40 hrs/week
  • Part Time: 15-29 hrs/week
  • Flex (as needed): 4-14 hrs/week
• Be available during peak retail operations (nights, weekends and holidays)
• Punctuality and consistent attendance

Qualifications/Experience

• Previous experience and demonstrated ability to provide excellent service and develop strong client relationships in a retail, hospitality, or client-focused environment
• A passion for beauty, trends, and empowering confidence
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative, goal-oriented, and inclusive environment
• Quick learner with the ability to absorb and share product knowledge
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

  $18.00 - $20.50/hr. The actual hourly pay offered depends on various factors, including relevant qualifications and experience; and other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position and/or geographic location.
