Job summary

Macy's in the cosmetics department seeks a Cosmetic Sales Colleague (Beauty Advisor) to provide expert makeup and skincare guidance, conduct product demonstrations, and tailor consultations to match each customer’s needs and style.

You will build lasting client relationships, grow a loyal customer base through follow‑up and events, and help customers feel confident, cared for, and excited to return while meeting sales goals.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer service or selling experience required.
• Deliver personalized beauty experiences by advising on makeup/skincare and product benefits.
• Stay current on trends and promotions to educate customers and boost sales.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers on the floor with greetings, product demonstrations, and consultations.
• Maintain an organized, shoppable space and up-to-date signage and pricing.
• Cultivate client relationships through follow-up, loyalty programs, and events.
• Meet and exceed daily sales goals while promoting loyalty benefits.
