Job summary

Sephora University Place Orem is seeking a Beauty Advisor who welcomes every client with warmth and confidence. You’ll provide personalized consultations, expert product recommendations, and help clients feel confident in their beauty choices.

You’ll stay on top of trends, demonstrate product knowledge, and drive sales while maintaining a clean, welcoming store space. This full-time role requires 30–40 hours per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous experience and ability to provide excellent service and build client relationships in retail or hospitality.
• Passion for beauty, trends and empowering confidence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team player in a collaborative, goal-oriented and inclusive environment.
• Fast learner capable of absorbing and sharing product knowledge.
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized beauty experiences Provide tailored consultations and product recommendations that meet each client’s needs
• Demonstrate product expertise: Share knowledge to educate and empower clients in their beauty journey
• Stay ahead of trends Keep up with the latest beauty products, techniques, and trends to deliver relevant advice that keeps clients coming back
• Drive results Sephora sets you up to thrive in your role so that you can exceed sales goals and key performance indicators
• Maintain a beautiful space Support inventory, merchandising, and ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.

Flexible Scheduling and Reliability

• Must meet the required minimum number of weekly shifts/ hours Full Time: 30-40 hrs/week
• Part Time: 15-29 hrs/week
• Flex (as needed): 4-14 hrs/week
• Be available during peak retail operations (nights, weekends and holidays)
• Punctuality and consistent attendance

Qualifications/Experience

• Previous experience and demonstrated ability to provide excellent service and develop strong client relationships in a retail, hospitality, or client-focused environment
