Job summary

The Beauty Advisor at Ulta Beauty is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience by greeting customers, identifying needs, performing cashier duties, and keeping shelves stocked and clean. You will support in-store events, demonstrate products, and help guests discover makeup, skincare, and salon services.

This role requires a passion for beauty, strong communication, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices).

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service by greeting and assisting guests, answering questions and recommending products and services.
• Perform cashier tasks and handle transactions accurately.
• Keep fixtures stocked and store clean; assist with merchandise resets and in-store events.
• Demonstrate products and services to drive sales and guest experience.
• Maintain attendance and adapt to flexible schedules including evenings and weekends.
