Sephora is seeking a Beauty Advisor at our Village at Waugh Chapel location in Gambrills, MD. You will greet clients, provide personalized beauty consultations, and recommend products to enhance their confidence and look.

You will stay updated on trends, demonstrate product knowledge, and work to exceed sales goals while maintaining a welcoming, inclusive store space and collaborating with teammates.

Your role at Sephora: As a Beauty Advisor, you'll be the face of Sephora - welcoming every client with warmth, confidence, and a passion for all things beauty. Through personalized consultations and expert product recommendations, you'll play a meaningful role in client's confidence journeys. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized beauty experiences Provide tailored consultations and product recommendations that meet each client's needs
• Demonstrate product expertise: Share knowledge to educate and empower clients in their beauty journey
• Stay ahead of trends Keep up with the latest beauty products, techniques, and trends to deliver relevant advice that keeps clients coming back
• Drive results Sephora sets you up to thrive in your role so that you can exceed sales goals and key performance indicators
• Maintain a beautiful space Support inventory, merchandising, and ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.

Flexible Scheduling and Reliability

• Must meet the required minimum number of weekly shifts/ hours
  • Full Time: 30-40 hrs/week
  • Part Time: 15-29 hrs/week
  • Flex (as needed): 4-14 hrs/week
• Be available during peak retail operations (nights, weekends and holidays)
• Punctuality and consistent attendance

Qualifications/Experience

• Previous experience and demonstrated ability to provide excellent service and develop strong client relationships in a retail, hospitality, or client-focused environment
• A passion for beauty, trends, and empowering confidence
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative, goal-oriented, and inclusive environment
• Quick learner with the ability to absorb and share product knowledge
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
