Job summary

Ulta Beauty in Los Angeles is seeking a Beauty Advisor to provide an exceptional guest experience, assist with services, and drive sales. The BA engages guests to identify needs, performs makeup applications and skincare analysis, stocks fixtures, and supports in-store events.

This role requires passion for beauty, strong guest service, and ability to learn product knowledge. A flexible schedule including weekends and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent.
• Proficiency with basic technology including POS systems and Apple devices.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed store goals for retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and shrink.
• Greet and engage guests, assess needs, answer questions, and recommend products and services.
• Handle customer service, sales, refunds, exchanges, and online orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales.
• Book appointments and support in-store events to enhance guest experience and sales.
• Stay informed about new products and services to better assist guests.
• Maintain punctual attendance.
