The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. is seeking a skilled makeup artist to offer welcoming, inspirational and personalized in-store experiences for our prestige brands in New York.

You will contribute to high-performing teams, support in-store events, and help maintain visual merchandising standards while delivering exceptional customer service and product knowledge to clients.

Qualifications

• Qualification in make-up artistry/retail make up experience is preferred, amateur level acceptable
• Ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service
• Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends and special events in a fast-paced work environment
• Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software

As one of our highly skilled make-up artists you will combine your creative and technical expertise and passion for people to provide a welcoming, inspirational and personalized in-store experience which educates and delights our customers.

You will also like working as part of a high performing team to create impact with in-store events and to ensure that the store always achieves our high standards of visual merchandising to stand out against our competitors.

While certification in make up artistry and/or previous retail make up experience is desirable we also welcome applicants with amateur level experience. Pay Range:

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $16.33 to $27.21. Exact hourly rate depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Hourly range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to hourly rate, this position may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
