Job summary

Seneca Health Care Center in West Seneca, NY is seeking a Full-Time Beautician to provide hair care and salon services for residents. You will perform shampooing, styling, cutting, coloring, and more, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring a safe, clean salon environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 6 months of hairdressing experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide hair care services including shampooing, styling, cutting, permanents, color rinses, and tints based on resident preferences.
• Maintain daily service records and submit required documentation to the business office.
• Ensure the beauty shop remains clean, organized, attractive, and compliant with safety standards.
• Properly clean, disinfect, and maintain salon equipment and supplies.
• Safely store chemicals and beauty supplies in designated secured areas.
• Assist with transporting residents to and from the beauty shop as needed.
• Communicate with residents and families regarding beauty shop services.
• Collaborate with staff to support resident satisfaction and overall well-being.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
