This role is focused on enhancing client wellness and appearance through professional, attentive service in a clean, welcoming environment. The Beautician ensures client satisfaction by delivering personalized beauty treatments and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and professionalism.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvide a variety of beauty services including haircuts, hairstyling, manicures, and other cosmetology treatments.Consult with clients to understand their beauty goals and recommend appropriate services.Ensure workstations and tools are cleaned, sanitized, and organized according to state health regulations.Maintain a positive, client-focused attitude and ensure each guest has a satisfying experience.Keep up to date with industry trends, products, and techniques.Assist with inventory of supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed.Uphold salon or spa policies and contribute to a welcoming, team-oriented environment.Work collaboratively with other staff members to support smooth operations and client scheduling.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position does not have supervisory responsibilities.QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum of 2 years of experience in the cosmetology field.Valid and current cosmetology license in the state of Florida.Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to work independently and efficiently.Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Creole) preferred.WORKING CONDITIONSGeneral office working conditions.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
