Job summary

Legacy Living Defiance is seeking a licensed Beautician to deliver salon services for residents in a senior living setting on-site in Defiance, Ohio. You will help residents look and feel their best through hair styling, nails, esthetics, makeup, and lashes while maintaining a supportive, respectful environment.

You will keep a clean workspace, coordinate with front desk when possible, and adapt services to residents' comfort and mobility.

The Opportunity

Legacy Living Defiance is seeking a Beautician to deliver salon services for residents in a senior living setting. This role supports residents’ comfort, confidence, and personal style through consistent, high-quality care.

Key responsibilities include providing beauty services such as hair styling/barbering, nail services, esthetics, makeup, and lashes; maintaining a clean, sanitary workspace; ensuring excellent client satisfaction and professional conduct; and supplying personal tools, kits, and products as needed.

Required qualifications/skills:

• Current Managing Cosmetologist license (active and in good standing)

A Typical Shift

You’ll arrive onsite in Defiance, OH and set up your workstation using the salon’s standard utilities and shared spaces. With a flexible, create-your-own schedule, you’ll plan appointments around resident routines and preferences. Throughout the day, you’ll consult with residents about desired looks, adapt techniques for comfort and mobility needs, and help clients feel at ease during services. When front desk support is available, you’ll coordinate timing and flow; you may also participate in occasional marketing or promotions at the salon’s discretion. You’ll wrap up by resetting the area for the next service and ensuring everything is orderly for the community.
