An environmental stewardship organization is seeking a PMSC AmeriCorps Member to enhance ecological health and maintain trails at the Bear Run Nature Reserve in Mill Run, PA. This role involves outdoor work like invasive plant removal and boundary maintenance, requiring some college education in natural resource management or equivalent experience. The member must commit to service from May to August 2025 and will receive a biweekly stipend along with an education award upon completion.

Qualifications

• Some college with coursework in related field or extensive practical experience.
• Some outdoor work experience required, preferably with trail work.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in extreme weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hiking trails and backcountry campsites.
• Conduct invasive plant removal and boundary maintenance.
• Assist with conservation easement monitoring.
