Job summary

BBA HOA, a beachfront condo community in Destin, Florida, seeks a Maintenance Technician to preserve safety, function, and curb appeal across vacation rental properties. You will perform repairs, troubleshooting, installations, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general upkeep while following high safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven maintenance experience in hospitality or property management.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent customer service and the ability to interact professionally with guests, homeowners, vendors, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-room maintenance and repairs, including troubleshooting, diagnosing issues, fixture installation, and damage repairs.
• Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Maintain electrical systems, including replacing light bulbs, outlets, and repairing circuit breaker panels.
• Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of ventilation, refrigeration, and related systems.
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Inspect fire and safety alarm systems and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Perform manual repairs, including lock replacements, window repairs, and other general maintenance tasks.
• Complete general property upkeep, including landscaping, drywall repair, painting, and carpentry work.
• Perform plumbing repairs, including toilet rebuilds, shower valve replacements, and sink valve repairs.
• Maintain clean, trash-free properties, including emptying dumpsters, trash cans, and replacing trash bags.
• Respond to maintenance requests and complete assigned projects in a timely manner.
