Job summary

Sea Colony Resort in Bethany Beach, Delaware is hiring a Food & Beverage Associate to serve guests across beachside outlets, from cafe to pool bar. You’ll greet guests, take orders, deliver items, operate the cash register, and help maintain a clean, friendly dining environment while earning $15 per hour plus tips and guaranteed 40 hours a week.

This summer-to-fall role welcomes university students 18–25 eligible for the J-1 program, with training provided and opportunities to gain international

Qualifications

• University students aged 18–25 eligible for the Work & Travel USA (J-1) program
• Conversational English – you'll be talking to guests every day
• A positive, guest-focused attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to stand, walk and lift light items during a busy shift
• Reliability, punctuality and a team-player mindset
• Availability for the full summer-to-fall season, including weekends and U.S. holidays (the busiest and most profitable times!)

Responsibilities

• Greeting and seating guests with a warm, friendly attitude
• Taking food and drink orders and delivering them quickly and accurately
• Preparing simple food items, snacks, coffee and soft drinks
• Operating the cash register and handling card and cash payments
• Keeping tables, counters, service areas and dining spaces clean and stocked
• Restocking supplies, ice, condiments and beverages
• Working as part of a fast-paced, multicultural team during busy beach season
