The School District of Lee County is seeking a Beach Volleyball Assistant Coach for North Fort Myers High in North Fort Myers, Florida. You will assist with practices, develop game plans, and teach volleyball fundamentals to student-athletes.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Prior coaching experience.
Valid Florida teaching certificate or valid Department of Education athletic coaching certificate.
Valid FHSAA certification.
Valid Adult and Child First Aid/CPR/AED certificate issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience, and/or certifications may be considered.
Valid Florida Driver’s License.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Coaching experience in the assigned or a closely related sport.
Experience mentoring youth and fostering a positive team culture.
Familiarity with academic eligibility requirements for student-athletes.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Knowledge of the sport’s rules, techniques, and safety practices.
Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
Ability to collaborate with school staff, parents, and community partners.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and during school breaks as needed.
