Job summary

NKC Health in Missouri seeks a BE/BC Trauma Surgeon (Surgical Critical Care Certified preferred) to join an established group. The role includes working 12 shifts per month with APP coverage to support the surgeons and a hospital-employed arrangement through Meritas Health.

NKC Health is a 451-bed level 2 trauma center with significant ICU capacity and Cerner EMR. Meritas Health is a subsidiary of North Kansas City Hospital, composed of 185 physicians.

Qualifications

• BE/BC Trauma Surgeon with Surgical Critical Care preferred.
• Be part of an established trauma group with APP coverage to assist surgeons.

Responsibilities

Job description

Seeking BE/BC Trauma Surgeon (Surgical Critical Care Certified preferred) at NKC Health to join established group working 12 shifts per month with APP coverage to support the surgeons.

NKC Health is a 451-bed, level 2 trauma center with 21,000 admissions and 70,000 ER visits last year. 42 total ICU beds; 14 are neuro/trauma ICU beds. Cerner is hospital and clinic EMR.

This position is hospital employed through multi-specialty group, Meritas Health, a subsidiary of North Kansas City Hospital, comprised of 185 physicians.
