Job summary

OhioHealth in Athens, OH is seeking a General Neurologist to join an established practice with a dedicated partner and a supportive inpatient/outpatient mix.

This outpatient-focused position includes some inpatient coverage, no stroke call, tele-neurology support for acute events, and opportunities to teach medical students at O'Bleness Hospital.

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in General Neurology.
• General Neurology with subspecialty fellowship training welcome; care site could support subspecialty interests.

Responsibilities

• Majority outpatient with some inpatient coverage; Neurology is a consulting inpatient service.
• No stroke call is required; tele neurology responds to acute stroke symptoms.
• Work with medical students at O'Bleness Hospital and Athens site.

Description:

• O'Bleness Hospital is community hospital located in Athens, OH near Ohio University. This care site offers the opportunity to work with medical students, is desired.

• Available procedures: EMG, EEG, Botox injections, trigger point injections

• General Neurology with Subspecialty fellowship training welcome. Care site could support a variety of subspecialty interests.
