Job summary

Streck in Nebraska is seeking a BCT Machine Operator 1 to produce the blood collection tubes (BCT) used by laboratories worldwide. You will operate labeling equipment, inspect materials, and perform quality checks—following documented work instructions in a regulated manufacturing environment.

This hands-on role emphasizes precision, teamwork, and adherence to FDA/ISO standards, in a climate-controlled facility with opportunities for on‑the‑job training and career development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or demonstrated success in a related role.
• Strong dependability, organization, and interpersonal communication skills (written and oral).
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team-oriented environment.
• Comfort using basic computer applications for inventory management, data entry, and training.
• Ability to safely operate a pallet jack to move loaded pallets.
• Willingness to learn automated equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Operate BCT labeling equipment and make adjustments during production runs.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment.
• Inspect and verify component materials before use.
• Package finished product according to work instructions.
• Pull, identify, store, and deliver samples and documentation as required.
• Perform quality checks to confirm product meets specifications.
• Follow established Quality Systems, documentation practices, and all FDA/ISO regulations.
• Report equipment, process, or personnel issues to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
