Job summary

Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey is seeking a Business Continuity Management Specialist II in Newark, NJ, offering hybrid work. You will configure BCM backend in Fusion, develop reports, and implement BCM best practices while collaborating with Disaster Recovery and IT teams to ensure resilience.

The role requires strong analytical skills, senior stakeholder coordination, and on-call support. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in BCM or related fields, a Fusion Administrator

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor degree preferred or relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 8 years direct experience in business continuity planning or related fields.
• Fusion Framework Systems Certified Administrator highly preferred.
• CBCP or MBCI certification a plus.
• Fusion framework knowledge required; SharePoint a plus.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain BCM backend in Fusion software tool, develop reports, modify screens.
• Recommend and implement BCM best practices.
• Lead annual Business Continuity Plan maintenance and BIA collaborations.
• Develop recovery strategies with Disaster Recovery and IT teams.
• Coordinate and validate contingency plans and exercises with leadership.
• Provide BCM training content and awareness activities.
• Support management during business disruptions and ad-hoc projects.
