Job summary

Northeast Family Services is hiring a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for flexible part-time, fee-for-service positions. The BCBA will conduct assessments, design treatment plans, consult with families, supervise technicians, and provide direct intervention focused on skill acquisition and reducing maladaptive behavior.

Qualified candidates hold a BCBA, have 2+ years of relevant clinical experience with autism/behavioral challenges, and can work mornings, afternoons, or evenings.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or PhD with BACB-approved coursework.
  • Current BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB.
  • Current LABA preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of related clinical experience with autism and behavior challenges.
  • Valid driver's license with access to a vehicle.
  • Availability to work mornings, after school, and evenings.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
  • Experience with ABA in applied settings.
  • Effective written and verbal communication.
  • Compassionate approach to care.
  • Experience with functional behavior assessments and FBAs.
  • Proficient with word processing and graphing software.
  • Up-to-date with best practices in ABA.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship currently.
  • Access to a laptop/secure internet and a phone for FFS positions.
  • High-speed secure internet access for full-time positions.

Responsibilities

  • Complete behavioral assessments and develop treatment plans.
  • Provide family consultations and trainings, supervise technicians, and deliver direct treatment.
  • Document instructional programs, data collection, graphing and analysis, and progress reports.
  • Develop behavior support plans and ensure ongoing treatment documentation.
  • Focus on skill acquisition and reducing maladaptive behavior.

TheBCBAwill be responsible for the completion of behavioral assessments, development of treatment plans, provision of family consultations and trainings, supervision of behavior technicians, and direct treatment with a focus on skill acquisition and maladaptive behavior reduction. The BCBA is responsible for completing all required documentation pursuant to ongoing treatment, including, but not limited to the development of instructional programs; data collection, graphing and analysis; writing of progress reports; and development of behavior support plans.

Qualifications:


  • Master's degree or PhD, with completion of BACB-approved behavior analytic coursework

  • Current BCBA certification, and in good standing with the BACB

  • Minimum of two years of related clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults with Autism, Developmental Disabilities, and/or behavior challenges.

  • Valid driver's license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle

  • Availability to work morning, after school, and evening hours

  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills

  • Experience in applied settings, developing and implementing behavioral interventions preferred

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • A compassionate approach to care

  • Experience administering functional behavior assessments and behavior skills assessments

  • Proficient with word processing and graphing software

  • Current with best practices and developments within the field of ABA

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time

  • Access to a laptop or CPS, high speed secure internet, and a phone required for FFS positions

  • Access to high speed secure internet required for Full Time positions

Compensation:
