Job summary

Soar Autism Center seeks a Clinical Trainer (BCBA) to lead growth and development of new trainees at one to two local centers after centralized training. You will support RBT evaluations and assist supervisors in clinical decision making, while delivering weekly supervision and mentoring to trainees.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or a related field.
• LBA in Arizona (for AZ only).
• Preferred candidates have a background in child development, early childhood education, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• ABA early intervention experience.
• Mission-driven with a focus on care quality for kids.
• Strong desire to work with clients ages 2–6.
• Clear professional communication, both verbal and written.
• Proficient with computers/tablets.

Responsibilities

• Grow and develop new trainees (BT/RBT) at one to two local centers after centralized training.
• Support RBT competency evaluations for new and existing RBTs.
• Assist 3–4 case supervisors in clinical decision-making growth.
• Provide weekly hours of billable supervision for trainees.
• Host weekly group training sessions for new trainees at home center.
• Build trainees’ skills in ESDM practices and ABA strategies.
• Complete monthly ESDM Fidelity Checks for RBTs.
• Coordinate with BCBAs to ensure supervision requirements are met.
• Organize quarterly center-level continuing education events.
• Collaborate with Partner Clinician and Center Operations Director on performance improvement.
• Act as clinical leader in the center when Partner Clinician absent.
• Achieve ESDM certification within 2 years.
