Job summary

Caravel Autism Health is seeking a BCBA to supervise and manage ABA services for children on the autism spectrum. You will oversee center and home-based intervention programs, supervise clinical staff, and ensure quality treatment aligned with state and insurance guidelines.

You will collaborate with families and other clinicians while providing training, supervision, and ongoing professional development. This is a permanent, on-site role with a mission-driven team and diverse caseload.

Qualifications

  • Must be BCBA or state-licensed and meet state requirements.
  • At least one year of experience using applied behavior analysis with autistic clients.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee full range of ABA treatment services including assessment, programming, progress monitoring, programming modification, parent training, care coordination with other providers, and insurance authorization.
  • Ensure all standards of care are followed per state and insurance guidelines.
  • Provide clinical recommendations regarding treatment intensity, modality, and transition/exit planning with parents and other stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and modify treatment based on the Caravel Quality of Effective Treatment (QET) measures.
  • Provide training and supervision to all levels of clinical staff to ensure high quality services.
  • Supervise others with focus on developing supervisees' independent clinical skills and certification fulfillment.
  • Collaborate with other clinicians and cross-functional team members.
  • Complete administrative tasks timely, including reports, insurance reviews, and funding forms.

Our Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) are responsible for the supervision and management of center and home-based intervention programs and treatment teams for children on the autism spectrum. Our BCBAs ensure that clinical staff are providing quality treatment for optimal results, and all standards of care are being maintained.

  • Oversee the full range of ABA treatment services including assessment, programming, progress monitoring, program modification, parent training, care coordination with other providers, and insurance authorization.
  • Ensures all standards of care are followed per state and insurance guidelines.
  • Provide clinical recommendations regarding treatment intensity, modality, and transition/ exit planning, in collaboration with parents and other stake holders, with the emphasis on delivering developmentally appropriate and socially valid client outcomes.
  • Evaluate and modify treatment based on the Caravel Quality of Effective Treatment (QET) measure.
  • Provide training and supervision to all levels of clinical staff to ensure high quality treatment services.
  • Supervise others with a focus on developing supervisees' independent clinical skills, problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills, and fulfillment of certification requirements.
  • Collaborate with other clinicians and cross functional team members.
  • Complete all administrative tasks in a timely fashion, including but not limited to generating reports, completing insurance reviews, and completing forms to ensure appropriate funding for client services and staff management.
Requirements
  • Must be Board Certified Behavior Analyst or a state-licensed behavior analyst and meet state specific requirements
  • At least one year of experience utilizing applied behavior analysis and providing behavior services to clients with autism in in-home and/or clinic-based settings
  • Continuous direct clinical support, ongoing professional development, and collaborative upbeat team environment
