Hawaii State Department of Education is seeking qualified teachers with a Hawaii teaching license from HTSB and a licensed BCBA in the State of Hawaii for K-12 special education roles. A Bachelor's Degree is the minimum, with a 3-year window to obtain licensure if hired without a full Teacher Education Program.

Qualifications

• Valid Hawaii teaching license from the Hawaii Teacher Standards Board and a licensed BCBA in Hawaii are required.
• Special education classroom experience in a K-12 setting is desired.
• Minimum qualification for teacher, librarian or counselor is a Bachelor's Degree (with exceptions for CTE positions).
• If hired without completing a Teacher's Education Program, up to 3 years to obtain a Hawaii teaching license and progress toward licensing requirements.
