Qualifications

• Board-certified or board eligible in Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform Body Imaging including MRI and CT scans.
• Manage onsite and remote coverage as part of a 5-campus health system.
• Share call responsibilities equally among radiologists.

Job description

Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System (SRHS) located in Spartanburg, SC is seeking to hire a FULL-TIME board-certified or board eligible radiologists with fellowship training in Body Imaging or significant practice experience. SRHS is a Level 1 Trauma Center, tertiary referral center and community teaching hospital for the Upstate of South Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Body Imaging including Abdomen and Pelvis MRI, Prostate MRI, and Multiphase CT imaging of the abdomen and pelvis as well as non-subspecialty general Diagnostic Radiology.
• Blend of onsite and remote coverage via provided full PACS home workstation to support a 5-campus health system with 500K studies/year and 4-5% growth annually.
• Weekend call shifts performed remotely.
• After 7pm Teleradiology coverage in place for all overnight reads.
• All call responsibilities shared equally amongst radiologists.
• No interventional requirement; diagnostic only.
• Excellent work/life balance and generous time off.
