Wipro is seeking a Battery Thermal Engineer to support thermal modeling for battery cells, packs, and BMS subsystems. The role focuses on advanced CFD/thermal simulations and developing reusable modeling workflows. Must have an MS/PhD with 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, expert AEDT/Icepak, Python scripting, and valid U.S.

work authorization. Prior battery cooling experience is a plus. You will collaborate with CAE vendors, establish modeling best practices, and help implement

Competenze

• MS/PhD + 3 years of industry experience.
• Mechanical Engineering background.
• Expert-level AEDT and Icepak within AEDT experience – mandatory.
• Python or equivalent scripting language.

Mansioni

• Develop models that convert power maps into thermal outputs.
• Perform advanced thermal/CFD simulations for cells, battery packs, BMS subsystems, and system-level analysis.
• Develop optimized workflows and reusable thermal simulation templates.
• Establish thermal modeling best practices.
