Job summary
Amprius Technologies is seeking a Test Engineer to join its Engineering Team in Fremont, CA. You will execute battery cell tests, manage test equipment, and compile inspection reports to provide accurate data for product decisions. This on-site role reports to the Sr.
Director of Eng and requires a solid engineering background with hands-on testing experience. You will run charge/discharge cycles, safety tests, and environmental assessments; calibrate equipment; document results; and support
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physical sciences, or related technical field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience with battery testing methods and equipment.
- Strong technical background and hands-on testing experience.
Responsibilities
- Cell testing execution including cycling, formation, DCIR/HPPC and EIS using Arbin/Neware equipment.
- Safety, abuse and environmental testing per IEC/UL standards.
- Test lab and equipment management, calibration and maintenance.
- Documentation and quality systems: reports, SOPs, CAPA, ECO under ISO 9001.
- Cross-functional support for development and IQC testing.
- Promote safety practices and identify improvements for efficiency.
