Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is seeking a Quality Control Inspector I to join the Quality team on the D-shift (Nights). The role involves auditing, monitoring, and testing battery production to ensure conformance with internal and regulatory standards.

You will work with senior inspectors and QA to troubleshoot issues, collect process data, and help reduce defects while maintaining accurate records and tight inspections.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associates preferred.
• 1–2 years quality control/inspection experience.
• Experience with quality tools such as control charts, FTA, and FMEA.

Responsibilities

• Assist audits of battery production quality.
• Inspect cells to verify specs.
• Analyze safety and performance in production.
• Collect process data from manufacturing.
• Support defect reduction through data analysis.
• Report deviations and liaise with QA to resolve issues.
