Job summary

Mobis South Carolina Electrified Powertrain (MSCe) seeks a Production Assistant Manager to support daily production operations for Battery Module and Battery System lines. You will coordinate shift execution, assist in planning, and manage manpower to meet targets while driving CI and safety across the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a engineering discipline or equivalent
• 5+ years in automotive manufacturing or related production environments
• Experience supervising employees or leading teams preferred
• Hands-on experience with shop floor operations
• Understanding of automotive quality requirements and problem-solving methodologies

Responsibilities

• Support daily production operations for Battery Module and Battery System lines.
• Coordinate and support shift execution to meet daily targets.
• Assist in short- and mid-term production planning.
• Manage manpower planning and daily workforce allocation.
• Monitor production KPIs and respond to issues promptly.
• Support continuous improvement, safety, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Lead and coach Team Leaders and hourly Team Members.
