Job summary

The PAC Group seeks an experienced Battery Pack Process Development Consultant to optimize manufacturing processes for advanced battery pack systems in a travel-ready, project-based environment. This role focuses on improving efficiency, quality, and scalability across module and pack assembly.

Responsibilities include process validation, FA/DFM, cross-functional collaboration, and support for pilot builds and NPI. Requires hands-on experience in battery packs and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience in a relevant engineering field.
• Proven experience in battery pack manufacturing or process development.
• Strong knowledge of battery systems, modules and pack assembly processes.
• Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and drive outcomes in a project-based environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize battery pack manufacturing processes, including module and pack assembly.
• Evaluate existing production workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, cost, and quality.
• Lead process validation, qualification, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams.
• Provide expertise in design for manufacturability (DFM) and scalability.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing and process issues and implement corrective actions.
• Create and maintain work instructions, SOPs, and process documentation.
• Support pilot builds and NPI activities.
