Job summary

Hadrian is expanding its battery pack assembly team and seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to drive the pilot line from concept to a safe, repeatable production process. You will work with a small team to refine processes, fixturing, and tooling for pack assembly, learning and growing as the line scales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 2+ years in manufacturing or process engineering.
• Experience with cell joining or precision joining processes.
• Experience developing fixturing or tooling for assembly.
• Hands-on on the production floor and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• U.S. Person with ITAR eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and improve assembly processes for the pilot line.
• Support cell joining process development and qualification builds.
• Design and build fixturing, stations, and tooling for the pilot line.
• Write and maintain work instructions and control plans.
• Support electrical test, formation, and characterization processes.
• Implement traceability and lot control with Quality on inspection plans.
• Perform root-cause analysis and drive improvements in yield and throughput.
• Advise on battery safety practices and compliance testing.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to move the line toward production readiness.
