Job summary

Kyyba is seeking a Seibi Technician Battery Pack Assembly for 12 months at the Princeton, IN site. The candidate will support Battery Pack Assembly equipment via the PE/VME teams, with travel to NAMCs and global partners as needed.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of Seibi technician experience, PLC programming skills, and the ability to read drawings. On-site with overtime and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• 2 Year associate’s degree in technical field, completion of a trade school, or 3+ Years relevant technical experience.
• 2 Years Experience with PLC programming for Toyopuc, Allen Bradley, Omron or Siemens.
• Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings.
• Proficient with Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams).
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and work up to 25% overtime including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support Client’s Production Engineering Vehicle Manufacturing Battery Pack Assembly equipment development with NAMCs & Global teams.
• Support equipment specification development to confirm standards compliance.
• Support equipment machine risk assessment development and confirmation activities.
• Complete Seibi equipment checks for Safety, Electrical & Mechanical design confirmations.
• Confirm equipment, conveyor & logistics hardware for individual cell & zone safety interlocks.
• Support Seibi equipment confirmations at vendor buy-off trials & larger zone trials.
• Support equipment adjustment to ensure Safety, Quality & Productivity target achievement.
• Engage in travel to vendors & NAMCs in the U.S., Canada, Mexico & Japan.
