Job summary

Custom Power in Fountain Valley, CA, is seeking a Production Assembler for the 2nd shift to build battery packs and battery management systems. You will follow blueprints and assembly instructions, handle small components, and use hand and power tools to ensure high-quality, on-time production.

Ideal candidates bring 1+ years in electronics assembly or manufacturing, can read blueprints, and are detail-oriented.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
1+ years of experience in production assembly, electronics assembly, or manufacturing.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and assembly instructions.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized assembly equipment.

Responsibilities

Assemble battery packs and battery management systems by following blueprints, work instructions, and assembly guides to ensure accurate and consistent production.
Handle and position small components, wires, and connectors with precision and care to prevent damage and ensure proper alignment.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete assembly tasks efficiently and safely.
Conduct inspections of in-process and completed assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Perform basic soldering and wire routing as required for assembly.
Record assembly data, complete production checklists, and maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
