Job summary

Primary Staffing Inc. in Illinois is seeking a manufacturing associate to assemble Battery Management System (BMS) boards and install components with high precision.

You will operate automated equipment, perform quality inspections, and adhere to safety and documentation standards while supporting rotating day/night shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronics assembly or precision assembly preferred.
• Ability to stand and perform repetitive hand movements.
• Capable of learning new manufacturing equipment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble BMS circuit boards following instructions.
• Install components, sensors, and wiring.
• Operate precision equipment and robotic tooling after training.
• Perform visual inspections for quality.
• Meet daily production and quality goals.

Responsibilities

• Assemble Battery Management System (BMS) circuit boards following work instructions and quality standards
• Install electronic components, sensors, connectors, and wiring
• Operate precision assembly equipment, robotic tools, and automated manufacturing systems after training
• Perform detailed visual inspections to ensure product quality
• Handle small electronic components with care and precision
• Meet daily production and quality goals
• Report equipment issues or production concerns promptly
• Follow all quality control procedures and documentation requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
• Work closely with supervisors, quality teams, and production staff

Requirements

• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Ability to work with very small electronic components
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Comfortable learning advanced manufacturing equipment and technology
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive hand movements
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs
• Previous manufacturing, electronics, PCB assembly, or precision assembly experience preferred
• Basic computer skills preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Schedule & Pay

• Day Shift 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM Starting at $18.00/hr
• Night Shift 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM Starting at $19.00/hr
• Rotating 12-hour schedule (Shift A, B, C & D)
• Overtime available as needed
