Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation is seeking knowledgeable auto, diesel, aircraft, or forklift technicians to join our field service team in Fresno, California. You will troubleshoot, diagnose and repair industrial batteries and chargers, perform maintenance, and keep a service van stocked and ready for daily jobs.

Applicants should have less than 2 years of related experience and a high school diploma. A technical degree and battery/charger repair experience are preferred, along with welding skills

Qualifications

• Minimum: less than 2 years related experience.
• Minimum: high school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: technical degree and battery/charger repair experience.
• Preferred: welding skills and knowledge of testing equipment.
• Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes; ability to read electrical schematics.
• Good written/verbal communication skills and customer care skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair industrial batteries and chargers.
• Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer industrial batteries and chargers.
• Maintain a service van and its inventory.
• Process paperwork after completion of each job.
