About the Job
As a Battery Build Technician, you will perform the physical assembly, integration, and testing of high-voltage and low-voltage battery packs and electrical systems. The right person for this role has a strong command of precision mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, and the usage of standard electronics manufacturing tools. If you are someone who is hardware-focused, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious, then this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
- Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of battery modules, enclosures, and high-voltage distribution systems.
- Execute precision wiring, crimping, soldering, and routing of complex wire harnesses and battery interconnects.
- Generate, review, and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), build logs, and quality documentation to ensure complete traceability.
- Perform in-process inspections, continuity testing, and voltage/resistance verification of electrical assemblies.
- Support prototyping, manufacturing development, and testing operations onsite at our assembly and testing facilities.
- Own the cleanliness, organization, and safety standards of the battery build workstation and associated equipment.
Required Qualifications
