Job summary

Concorde Battery Georgia Corporation is seeking a driven candidate to start a career assembling batteries. The successful candidate will work at various workstations within the stage one battery assembly department, with hands-on training from the supervisor and colleagues; previous experience is not required but a plus.

Overtime may be available. Expect to follow instructions, operate machines, verify materials, and maintain safety while standing for long periods and handling up to 80 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Read, write, and speak English.
• Punctual and reliable; must complete pre-employment physical/drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Follow written and oral instructions.
• Operate and adjust machine(s) to control quality standards within stage one department.
• Verify setup and the correct material is being used.
• Case groups in correct orientation.
• Use a hand torch and operate epoxy machine.
• Inspect and clean plates and finish battery terminals.
• Stand for long periods and maneuver up to 80 pounds.
• Wear respirator and PPE; follow safety requirements.
