Job summary

Baths R Us is hiring a Bathroom Remodeling Installer Trainee in Medina, OH. You will work under an experienced Lead Installer to learn every aspect of professional bathroom remodeling, from demolition to finishing touches.

Ideal candidates have some construction or related trade exposure and a strong work ethic. We offer paid, hands-on training, performance-based wage increases, and a clear path to becoming a Lead Installer while enjoying year-round, full-time work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• At least 1 year of construction/remodeling or related experience preferred.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Dependable with excellent attendance.
• Willingness to learn and accept coaching.
• Detail-oriented with pride in producing quality work.
• Ability to communicate professionally with homeowners.
• Ability to travel.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical: lift 50+ pounds; stand, kneel, bend, squat, and climb; work in residential environments.
• Safely use hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with demolition and job site preparation.
• Install showers, bathtubs, wall surrounds, and accessories.
• Learn finish carpentry, trim work, and flooring installation.
• Assist with light plumbing fixture installation.
• Safely operate hand and power tools.
• Load, unload, and organize materials.
• Maintain clean and safe job sites.
• Deliver exceptional workmanship and customer service.
• Learn installation techniques while completing real customer projects.
• Every day is different, building valuable trade skills at customers' homes.

What You'll Do

As a Bathroom Remodeling Installer Trainee, you'll work directly with an experienced Lead Installer to learn every aspect of professional bathroom remodeling.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist with demolition and job site preparation

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who has some experience working in construction or a related skilled trade and wants to continue building their career.

Preferred Experience

Experience in one or more of the following:

• Construction
• Drywall
• General Contracting
• Home Improvement
• Maintenance Technician
• Roofing
• Window & Door Installation
• General Labor
