Job summary

American Family Fitness is seeking a Basketball referee to officiate games for the Basketball League under the supervision of the Activities Director. The role requires knowledge of VHSL rules, the ability to work well with others, and maintaining physical stamina for extended play.

Responsibilities include enforcing rules, ensuring player safety, and coordinating with fellow officials and staff to manage game flow in a dynamic athletic environment.

Qualifications

• Must complete any mandatory staff trainings held.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or complete certification within first two months of employment.
• Pass National Background check to work in the program.
• Reasonable knowledge of the game of basketball with emphasis on VHSL rules.
• Ability to work well with others and manage all aspects of the basketball game.
• Good physical condition and ability to stand for extended periods.

Job Requirements
