Job summary

Qualifications

• Bball playing or coaching experience preferred but not required.
• Experience working with children is a plus.
• Comfortable working with students in grades K–8.
• Reliable transportation to schools throughout Boca Raton.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Positive and energetic attitude.
• Must complete Palm Beach County School District background check and fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging basketball sessions for elementary students.
• Teach age-appropriate basketball fundamentals and skills.
• Promote teamwork, sportsmanship and positive behavior.
• Follow BBA's structured curriculum and activities.
• Create a fun, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
• Supervise groups of approximately 15–25 students.
• Encourage participation, confidence and skill development.
• Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership.

BBA Afterschool Inc. is hiring enthusiastic, dependable, and energetic After-School Basketball Instructors to lead fun and engaging basketball programs for elementary-aged students throughout Boca Raton, FL.

Position Details

• Part-time, after-school position
• Monday through Friday
• Afternoon after-school hours
• 1.5-hour sessions
• $37.50 per session ($25 per hour)
