Job summary

BBA Afterschool is hiring energetic and reliable After‑School Basketball Coaches to lead elementary‑aged students in fun, structured basketball programs in the Clark County area, with an immediate need for coaches located near Mabel Hoggard Elementary School.

This part-time, after-school position runs Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with 1.5-hour sessions. Pay is $25.00 to $30.00 per hour, curriculum and equipment are provided, and no weekends or lesson planning are required.

Qualifications

• Experience playing or coaching basketball is preferred but not required.
• Comfortable working with children in grades K through 5.
• Reliable transportation to schools throughout Clark County, preferably near Mabel Hoggard Elementary School.
• Must successfully complete the required school district background check and fingerprinting process.

Responsibilities

• Coach elementary students in basketball activities.
• Follow BBA's structured curriculum and lesson plans.
• Create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment.
• Supervise groups of approximately 15 to 25 students.
• Teach fundamental basketball skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
• Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership.

Position Details

• Part‑time, after‑school position
• Monday through Friday
